Bio
Arnold Savrann is a native of Boston where he began his career in art under the tutelage of his father "Sav," a well-known fine artist and illustrator.

After receiving a Bachelor's Degree in the Fine Arts and a Master's Degree in Architecture from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University, Arnold furthered his professional career in architecture and art in his native Boston and later in New York and Washington, D.C.

Design assignments that included travel to East Africa resulted in a series of wildlife exhibits on the east coast and inclusion in "Who's Who in American Art." Since then he has enjoyed a busy career fulfilling commissioned works for private and corporate collections, galleries and museum shows.

"…I never know when I'll come upon a subject that I want to paint, so I always carry a ready supply of pencils and markers, and I take lots of notes. If I have a camera with me, I record details for later use in my studio where most of my paintings are completed. I like the immediacy of field sketches and watercolor, but the richness and textural capabilities of oil have always made that my favorite medium…"
